I began my study of Wu Style Tai Chi Chuan in Singapore in 1962. After arriving in the UK, my search for an official Wu Style School to continue my training and learning, led me, in 1991, to the Wu Style Tai Chi Chuan Academy, London. I trained, while assisting in teaching and in the everyday running of the school under the leadership of Sifu Gary Wragg, until year 2000.

In 1995, I was honoured to be invited by Sifu Wu Kwong Yu to join the family. In 1996, I became a disciple of Sifu Wu Kwong Yu.

I had participated in many Tai Chi tournaments in UK, Europe & Canada, and won 22 gold, 7 silver and 4 bronze medals for Hand Form, Weapon Forms and Push Hand.

I have been on the BBC radio progarmme on Tai Chi Chuan and gave workshops to International Companies. I had demonstrated widely in various public events, including martial arts events at various venues in different countries.

In year 2002, at the official launch of the new Wu Style 54 Competition Round Form in Hong Kong, I was honoured to be a member of the 54 Round Form demonstration team, representing UK.

At present, I travel yearly to train in the Toronto Academy, in the Singapore Academy and of course with my sifu, sifu Wu Kwong Yu.

I am a registered Instructor Member of the Tai Chi Union of Great Britain; a member of the International Wu Style Tai Chi Chuan Federation and a former member of the executive committee of the Tai Chi Union for Great Britain.

I am a qualified dental surgeon and have practiced dentistry for nearly 30 years.

Time permitted, I like to practice chinese calligraphy and to paint. I also enjoy doing translation work.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone at various Academies around the world, the Masters, Senior and Junior Instructors, fellow disciples and other students for your teaching, patience and friendship.

Most of all I would like to thank my sifu. Many thanks, Sifu, for the opportunity to learn, to take and to give, and for the honour to be a member of your family.
