I first started learning Wu style Tai Chi in 1967 at the age of 11 with Master Loon Seng Poh and Master Kam Weng Seng both of whom were disciples of Grandmaster Wu Kung Yi. At 18 I stopped learning as I had to serve National Service in the Army as well as to pursue my college education. It was not till 1994 where I re-started learning Tai Chi again from instructor Ng Say Tiong at Singapore Jian Chuan Tai Chi Chuan Physical Culture Assn. In 2002, I passed the Singapore Wushu Coach Training Course for Tai Chi instructors. In the same year, I had the fortune of becoming a disciple of Grandmaster Wu Tai Sin. Thereafter, I continued my Tai Chi education with Master Ow Tuck Seng who taught me Tai Chi theory. In 2003, I passed the National Coach Accreditation Programme Theory Course which allowed me to teach Tai Chi at schools and community clubs in Singapore. Currently, I train with instructor Ms Saw Phaik Hwa.
