Disciple of: Grandmaster Eddie Wu Kwong Yu
Disciple year: 1994
Certification Date: January 2004
Certification level:  Advanced
Certification School: Michigan Tai Chi Chuan Institute

Biography:
I switched to Wu Style Tai Chi after attending a seminar with Grandmaster Eddie Wu Kwong Yu in July of 1987 and was one of the original members of the Detroit area school founded by Sifu Stephen Britt later that year.

I continued training at Wu Style Tai Chi Chuan in Royal Oak, Michigan with Sifu Stephen Britt and become a disciple of Grandmaster Eddie Wu Kwong Yu in 1994. I trained as an assistant instructor to Sifu Stephen Britt and Sifu Genie Parker from 1994 until 2003 when I began teaching my own classes.

In 1994 and 2004, I toured Southeast Asia and China with other students from Michigan, visiting and training with Wu family members and students at several academies.  I was certified as a judge by the United Wushu Federation of Ontario from 1999-2002.

My goal is the proper development and training of students in all aspects of Tai Chi Chuan and I teach regular classes for the general public and senior citizens, with occasional classes for special populations.
