Ethan Malzberg started training Wu's style Tai Chi Chuan in 1989 at the Royal Oak school, Michigan. He was looking for a martial art, a healthy way of life and training to help with asthma. In 2007 Ethan started training in Ann Arbor Michigan after a few years break in training. In October 2009 Ethan was accepted as a disciple of Sifu Genie Parker in a ceremony at the Ann Arbor Academy presided over by Grandmaster Wu Kwong Yu.
