Wu's Tai Chi Chuan Academy, Ann Arbor
Tai Chi Chuan is an excellent way to manage stress and find relaxation in your life. Wu Style is a family art, and this is reflected in the friendly and supportive atmosphere. In most classes, you are able to learn at your own pace. During class, you have the opportunity to review what you have learned as well as learn new material.
Wu Style Tai Chi is a complete art form, offering a balance of energizing, focusing movements, with calming and centering. Advanced study adds martial applications and weapons training to the mix.
The school is headed by Sifu Genie Parker who has over twenty years experience with Wu style. She is also the first non-Chinese woman to take on disciples for the Wu family, and only the third person in North America to be so honored.
We teach traditional Wu Style Tai Chi Chuan:
54 and 108 forms, beginning, intermediate and advanced levels

“Sweet and Low” Sitting Tai Chi: Wu style Tai Chi learned while mostly sitting down; designed for people with less mobility due to aging, arthritis, Parkinsons, MS, and any other health related problems

Beginners, intermediate and advanced
Training Rates: Classes free with membership or sign up for specific classes at $99 for ten classes.
