Wu's Tai Chi Chuan Academy, London, Bethnal Green is celebrating its 25th anniversary, since Gary Wragg's London Centre of Wu Style Tai Chi Chuan was recognised as Europe's first official Wu style Tai Chi Chuan Academy in 1989. A series of events is taking place in late spring in London to celebrate the occasion, and we would like to invite you to participate in these.
We are proud to announce that Grandmaster Wu Kwong Yu, head of the Wu Family lineage, is making a special visit for the occasion.
The programme of events is as follows:
- 24-26 May: Workshops by Grandmaster Wu Kwong Yu, hosted by Wu's Tai Chi Chuan Academy, London, Archway (If you don't have the password, please contact us)
- 27 May: London Sightseeing Tour
- 28 May: Disciple Workshop by Grandmaster Wu Kwong Yu (If you don't have the password, please contact us)
- 29 May: Wu's Tai Chi Chuan Academy Bethnal Green open for demonstration rehearsals during the day
- 29 May: Celebratory Dinner and Demonstration (All Academies are invited to demonstrate)
- 1 June: 3rd International Wu Style Tai Chi Chuan Federation Competition 2014 (as part of the 7th London Competition for Traditional Tai Chi Chuan)
