Roger Mui

The late Grand Master Tony Chan (Sifu) was the headmaster of my secondary school. He imparted a lot of Taichi philosophy to me in my school life which had a great influence to my thinking. When I was young, I incurred a number of injuries on my knees and waist due to improper exercise movements which caused a lot of pains. The pains were deteriorating as I was getting older. Until 2012, I had the chance to study Wu Style Taichi Chuan from Sifu and learned to use my muscles effectively as well as efficiently. Surprisingly, my pains disappeared within a few months after learned Taichi without any medication. I could even join the competitions in 400 meters and cross-country run with good results. I deeply acquired the benefit of Taichi Chuan to my health.

In 2017, I had honour to be accepted as a disciple of Sifu. In 2021, I joined the Hong Kong Wushu Union and assumed the post of Deputy Honourable Secretary.

With all the precious opportunities rendered to me by Sifu, I will endeavour to do all my best for the promotion and inheritance of Chinese Wushu especially Wu Style Tai Chi Chuan. I consider this mission is the greatest honour in my life.
