Lin Heung Wing, Jason

My passion towards Chinese culture, particularly Chinese history, the art of war and martial arts, began in childhood.  By joining the Chinese martial arts club during university time, I started lessons on Yang Style Tai Chi Chuan, Wing Chun Chuan, and some forms of external martial arts.  Since the start of my work life, with escalating interests in internal power, I have continued learning Chinese martial arts, including Cheng Style Tai Chi Chuan, Bagua Palm and Wu Style Tai Chi Chuan.

Despite learning various types of Chinese martial arts, I opined that my combat capability was still very low.  In 2010, it was fortunate for me to visit Wu’s Tai Chi Chuan Academy Headquarters and to begin my training on authentic Wu Style Tai Chi Chuan.  Later, under the coaching of Grand Master Eddie Wu Kwong Yu, I experienced the real power of Tai Chi Chuan.  In 2013, I was honoured to be accepted as one of his disciples.  Looking forward, I will continue to put extra efforts in learning and practicing Wu Style Tai Chi Chuan.
