2017 Hong Kong and Singapore Academy Anniversary

May 26th to June 4th 2017 - Founder's day Zhang San Feng celebrations, the Wu Style Tai Chi Chuan Hong Kong Headquarters 80th anniversary, the Singapore Jien Chuan Tai Chi Chuan Physical Culture Association Academy 60th anniversary and the Wu Style Tai Chi Chuan competitions.

We look forward to welcoming the Wu Style Tai Chi Chuan practitioners from around the world getting together in Hong Kong and Singapore and participating in these events.

Package for US$1,600 per person that includes:

  • nine nights of hotel with breakfast (based on double occupancy per room),
  • all other travel sites buses and meals include while sightseeing activities,
  • round-trip Ferry to Macau from Hong Kong.

Please note that airfares to Hong Kong and Singapore are not included in the following package.

In addition: at the Eaton Hotel in Hong Kong the following are included:

  • Buffet Breakfast
  • Free use of Handy Smartphone for unlimited Internet, local and international calls to USA, UK, China (mainland), Singapore and Australia.

NEW: Competition fee - one fee for US$100 to attend as many competitions as you wish.

NEW: Prize and medals - For the first time, prize money will be awarded to competitions winners. Mr. Eugene Heung Lap Chi, Hong Kong disciple of Grandmaster Eddie Wu, is graciously donating HK$250,000 for competitions prizes.

ITINERARY

26/May/17

  • Group arrives from different parts of the world to Singapore.
27/May/17
  • After breakfast, transfer to Singapore Academy and weigh-in for competing members. There will be US$100.00 for competition fees for unlimited events.
  • Cash Prices and medals will be awarded for the competition.
  • The rest of the day is free.
28/May/17
  • After breakfast, transfer to competition site and Founder's night Banquet.
29/May/17
  • After breakfast, a half day bus tour of Singapore. Lunch included.
30/May/17
  • After breakfast, transfer to airport departure to Hong Kong.
  • The Group arrives in Hong Kong (suggests take a taxi with a group of four. Taxi fare approximately US$10.00 per person or less to Eaton Hotel).
  • A welcome Japanese dinner at 8:00pm. Dinner with unlimited beer and soft drinks.
31/May/17
  • After breakfast, workshop at the HQ (walking distance from Eaton hotel).
  • Dim Sum lunch at 1:30pm.
  • Free day after lunch.
01/June/17
  • After breakfast, bus pick up group at hotel at 11:00am to go to Ling Wan Temple to pay respect to Grand Master Wu Tai Kwei.
  • A second workshop of "pushing hand" at the temple followed by a vegetarian lunch at the temple
  • After lunch, bus tour in Kowloon and Hong Kong.
  • At the end of the tour there be an Italian dinner.
  • Bus takes group back to hotel after dinner.
02/June/17
  • After breakfast, group will take MTR to Macau ferry terminal (walking distance from hotel to underground train).
  • After arrive in Macau, a bus will take us to pay our respects to Grand Master Wu Kwong Yi.
  • Followed by a Dim Sum lunch.
  • A half day bus tour of Macau with tour guide.
  • Dinner will be Portuguese after the tour.
  • Transfer to Macau ferry terminal return back to Hong Kong.
03/June/17
  • After breakfast, members can rehearse at the HQ for the evening Founder's night banquet demo.
  • Founder's night banquet at 6:30pm.
04/June/17
  • After breakfast,departure for Home!!
