The Shanghai branch of Wu Style Tai Chi Chuan was established around 1940. I began studying with Master Wu Chien Chuan in 1933, when he personally taught me sabre, sword, push hands, dalu, etc. until 1942 when he passed away. In 1946, I began studying with Master Wu Kung Yi at the Shanghai club. |
