Heidi McKenzie

I began my tai chi studies in earnest in the fall of 2003. In the spring of 2005 Sifu invited me to become a Disciple. Tai Chi Chuan has been a large part of my path to recovery from twenty year’s affliction with Fibromyalgia. Currently I am apprenticing as an instructor with Si-Hing David McKenzie. My goal is to gain the skills and experience needed to lead a tai chi class targeted to people living with chronic pain, and Fibromyalgia.

Currently I am working at CBC Radio pursuing a career in broadcasting. I have a background in Classical Music, and over the past two decades I have been an administrator and fundraiser for a number of arts organizations, festivals, a music school and, opera singers, the ROM and TVOntario.
