I was born in Hong Kong, and immigrated to Toronto in 1970. I studied Nutritional Science at U of Toronto. Upon graduation I worked as a quality control manager for a few years before staying home to take care of the family. Having a strong desire to stay healthy, I became interested in Tai Chi about ten years ago. I tried different Tai Chi groups in the community, but found them to be social in nature. My quest for the right club began. After I met Sifu in 2007, I joined the club in Toronto. It is refreshing to find a Sifu who is so willing to share the knowledge, even to an “outsider” like myself. My interest grows and I want to study Tai Chi seriously. I finally become a disciple knowing that I have found the right Tai Chi Ch’uan Association and more importantly the right “Teacher”. |
