Michael Guzanek

My martial arts studies began with Karate, then to Aikido. I wanted to learn more about the internal martial arts, so I began studying Wu style Tai Chi Chuan in Royal Oak, Michigan, under Sifu Stephen Britt in January 1989.

I became a disciple of grandmaster Eddie Wu Kwong-yu in August 1992 at a Ceremony held in Toronto, Ontario.

I began assistant instructing in 1990 at our Royal Oak school. I was certified at Advanced Level by grandmaster Eddie Wu Kwong-yu in October 2019, and continue to teach at the Ferndale location.
