I started Wu’s Tai Chi Chuan in May of 1997. I was assigned membership No. 436 by Sifu Eddie Wu Kwong Yu, at the original Wu’s Tai Chi Chuan Academy in Toronto at 193 Parliament Street. I took one of my friends over a year to get me to try Tai Chi out. I spent 5 to 6 years at the Parliament Academy. Then then left Tai Chi for twenty years. I returned and wish I had never quit. I forget the form but my energy remembered where it left off. Currently I am a disciple Of Sifu Eddie Wu Kwong Yu and a certified instructor at the Toronto Academy, 245 Carlaw Ave., Suite 600. At the Toronto Academy I assist the senior instructor teaching the beginners class Tuesdays evening, and I assist the senior instructor teaching the intermediate class Wednesday evening. |
